Marghretta Shisko
Marghretta Shisko is a Partner at the Law Firm of John B. White, Jr. P.A. Located in the Upstate of South Carolina, the firm is committed to dependably providing exceptional, responsible, full- service legal representation to every client, and focuses on the practice areas of serious catastrophic injury, business litigation, pharmaceutical litigation, products liability, and elder law litigation.
Marghretta received her Bachelor of Arts from Wofford College, where she majored in both government and Spanish, minored in economics, and graduated summa cum laude. She the graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law cum laude, and was a member of the Order of the Wig and Robe as well as associate editor-in-chief of the South Carolina Law Review.
Following graduation, Marghretta joined a Charleston, S.C.-area law firm as an associate attorney in law enforcement defense litigation. A practicing attorney for over a decade, Marghretta began working with John B. White, Jr., in 2012, when she joined Harrison, White, Smith, & Coggins as an associate attorney, working her way up to Partner at Harrison White, P.C. in 2021. Her primary practice areas at John B. White, Jr., P.A., include complex civil and business litigation.
Marghretta was an Academy Follow of the South Carolina Legal Writing Academy, and is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Spartanburg Area Conservancy (SPACE). She is a member of the American Bar Association, and her Bar Admissions include South Carolina and the U.S. District Court, District of South Carolina.
